  1. Soak urad dhal in water for 2 hours. Add little water and grind it as a thick batter.
  2. To check the correct consistency take a small portion of batter and drop it in water, it should float.
  3. To the batter add all the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Scoop the batter and make a hole in the centre and drop it in the pan.
  5. Tip - If the batter is watery add rice flour to adjust.
