Moong dhal is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It is simple, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Moong dhal is something that I have loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can cook moong dhal using 8 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Moong dhal:
  1. Prepare 200 g moong dhal
  2. Make ready 1 cup chopped onions
  3. Make ready 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  4. Get 1/2 tablespoon chilli powder
  5. Make ready 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  6. Get Salt (as required)
  7. Take 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  8. Prepare 1/2 tablespoon jeera
Instructions to make Moong dhal:
  1. Soak moong dhal for 10 minutes. Meantime take a pan or pressure cooker and add oil to heat. Add jeera then to sprinkle.
  2. Put the chopped onions and cook well till it's translucent. Then add chopped tomatoes
  3. Add chilli powder, tumeric powder, salt and mix well. Add the soaked moong dhal to it and cook for 5 min till it boils.
  4. Then close the pan or pressure cooker and cook for 10 min. (If in pressure cooker leave it for 3 whistles).
