The ingredients needed to make Dal makhani:
  1. Make ready 1/2 cup black whole urad dal
  2. Get 1/4 cup Rajma/ kidney beans
  3. Take 1 Bay leaf
  4. Prepare 2 cardamom
  5. Prepare 1 inch Cinnamom stick
  6. Prepare 4-5 clove
  7. Get to taste Salt
  8. Get 2 tsp Ginger
  9. Prepare 4-5 Garlic cloves
  10. Get 3-4 Tomatoes
  11. Prepare 1 Onion
  12. Make ready 2 Green chillies
  13. Make ready 2 tbsp Oil
  14. Make ready 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  15. Get 1 tbsp amchur(dry mango) powder
  16. Get 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
  17. Get 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  18. Make ready 1 1/2 tbsp Rosted Kasuri methi
  19. Prepare 50 gm Butter
  20. Get 1/2 tbsp Garam masala
Instructions to make Dal makhani:
  1. Urad dal and rajma sock it over night.
  2. Then after socking over night, wash it at morning and put it in cooker.
  3. In the cooker add big cardamom, bay leaves,long, cinnamon,and salt then cook it on low flame and for 5-6 vessels.
  4. Then after cooking let the dal cook without led for 10 min.
  5. Till that make ginger,green chilli,tomatoes and garlic paste.
  6. Even make onion paste.
  7. Now take a kadhai add oil let it get heated add onion paste the after 2 sec add kashmir red chilli powder, turmeric powder and let it get cook till it get brown.
  8. Then add tomato puri,add salt and let the it cook tl the onions starts leaving oil.
  9. Then add dal which is cooked in kadhai and mix it well.
  10. Then add coriander powder,amchur powder and add water and cook for 5 min then add garam masala and butter and cook it for 10 min.
  11. Then after that add roasted kasuri methi and mix it well.
  12. Ready to serve.
