Hello everybody, I hope you are having an amazing day today. Today, I’m gonna show you how to prepare a special dish, dum paneer. One of my favorites. For mine, I’m gonna make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Dum Paneer is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It is appreciated by millions every day. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. They are nice and they look fantastic. Dum Paneer is something that I have loved my whole life.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook dum paneer using 12 ingredients and 13 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Dum Paneer:
  1. Take 500 gm paneer cut into cubes soaked in warm water with lil salt for a while
  2. Make ready 4 tbsp desi ghee or butter
  3. Prepare Pinch jeera/ Cumin seeds
  4. Make ready 3 onion sliced
  5. Get 1 tsp garlic paste
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  7. Prepare to taste Salt and black pepper powder
  8. Get 2 bay leaf
  9. Make ready 1 cup dahi / curd whisked
  10. Get 1 tbsp fresh cream
  11. Get 1 tsp green chilli paste
  12. Make ready 1 tsp garam masala
Instructions to make Dum Paneer:
  1. Firstly fry onions in a good amount of oil until golden brown, cool it & grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.
  2. Now dry roast the given ingredients of masala, cool it, grind it to a coarse powder.
  3. Take a heavy bottom handi, add ghee or butter with oil, heat it.
  4. Lower the flame now, add tejpatta & zeera, let it splutter.
  5. Now add ginger garlic paste, add lil water also, sauté it for a while.
  6. Add onion paste, stir fry it for a while.
  7. Add paneer pcs, give a gentle stir, add salt also.
  8. Now add green chilli paste & add 1 tbsp of dry roasted masala, give a quick stir.
  9. Add curd & cream, mix it well. Stir it gently. Add black pepper powder also. Stir it again.
  10. Sprinkle some water, cover it with the lid, seal the edges with ata or aluminium foil.
  11. Give a dum for 10-15 minutes.
  12. Switch off the flame now, open the lid after a while.
  13. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta, slitted green chilli & ginger juliens.
