Get 200 g dried spaghetti,
Get 3 cloves garlic sliced thinly,
Take 2 handfuls fresh parsley, chopped finely,
Take 2 small chillies, sliced into thin rings, seeds left in one,
Take 150 g frozen small shrimp, defrosted and drained,
Get Salt & pepper to season
Make ready 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions to make Chilli & Garlic Spaghetti with Shrimp & Fresh Parsley:
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil and then begin cooking the pasta according to packet instructions.
Meanwhile add the oil and sliced garlic to a large frying pan and begin to heat it over a medium heat. Once the oil heats and the garlic begins to sizzle, leave for a minute then add in the chopped chillies and allow to become fragrant.
Add in the shrimp. Turn the heat down a little on the hob. Fry the chillies, garlic and shrimp for a around 4 minutes or until the shrimp are almost cooked then add in 9/10ths of the chopped parsley. Stir in the oil for a minute and season with salt and pepper. Turn off the heat and remove from the hob.
Drain off the Spaghetti once cooked and season with a little more pepper. Add the Spaghetti into the frying pan with the fragrant oil and toss everything gently together so all the strands of pasta are coated evenly and the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Dish up and garnish with the remaining parsley leaves by scattering them over. Enjoy! :)
