  1. Get 2 katori rice
  2. Get 1 large carrot
  3. Make ready Beans (waitrose pack of 3 amount - maybe a fist full)
  4. Take 1-2 teaspoons jeera
  5. Make ready 1 pinch heeng
  6. Take 1 tej patta
  7. Take 2 cloves (Hindi long)
  8. Take 1/2 teaspoon haldi
  9. Make ready 1-1.5 teaspoons red chilli powder
  10. Prepare to taste Salt (quite a lot)
Steps to make Ishu House Pulao:
  1. Soak rice for 15 mins
  2. Cut beans and carrots into small cube like pieces
  3. In a pressure cooker, add 3 tablespoons oil, zeera, heeng, long and tez patta and fry for a few mins until zeera cooks
  4. Add beans and carrots and toss for a bit
  5. Add salt, mirchi and haldi
  6. Add rice and 2 cups of water (1 per cut of rice) and an addition 1/4-1/2 more
  7. Mix well and taste for salt and chilli
  8. Pressure cook for 1 whistle (approx 10 mins)
