  1. Get 5 cups rava/ suji(200ml)
  2. Take 2-3 onions (thinly sliced)

Steps to make Rava Upma:
  1. Dry roast rava/ suji till aromatic. Keep all ingredients ready.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai,add mustard seeds after it cracks add urad dhal and channa dhal. Fry till color changes.
  3. Add curry leaves, cashews and green chillies. Saute for a minute.
  4. Next add onions and fry till translucent. Add coriander leaves and salt. Saute for 2 minutes.
  5. Add water and allow to boil(1 cup Rava: 2 cup Water). Lower flame and slowly add roasted rava stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Mix well till water is absorbed and cover with lid for 2 minutes.
  6. Add ghee and mix well. Serve hot with coconut chutney or sugar.
