The ingredients needed to make Toor dhal chila:
  1. Prepare 1 cup boiled rice
  2. Take 1 cup raw rice
  3. Prepare 1 cup toor dal
  4. Get 5 red chillies (or more if need spicy)
  5. Prepare 1/2 cup coconut scrapped
  6. Make ready 2 tsp ginger scrapped
  7. Make ready 1 tsp curry leaves
  8. Take 2 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  9. Take to taste Salt
  10. Take As required Oil - to prepare chila (1/2 tsp per chila)
  11. Get As required Water to soak
Steps to make Toor dhal chila:
  1. Soak raw rice, boiled rice, toor dhal, red chilli together for 4 hours.
  2. Drain the water and grind it like dosa batter. Add salt, ginger, coconut, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  3. Mix well. Heat a tawa. Pour a ladleful of batter, spread it eventually from the centre of the tawa and add oil.
  4. Cook both the sides. Serve with chutney
