  1. Cut the okra in half. Fry the mung Daal in a frying pan without oil for 1-2 minutes. Make sure they don’t get burned. Now wash the Daal with warm water.
  2. Heat up the pan and pour oil. Add onion and garlic. Fry them for few minutes. Now add all spices. Cook them for 5 minutes. Now add Daal. Cook for 10mins in medium flame. Add 1 cup water.
  3. Now in a different frying pan pour 1/2 tsp oil. Fry the okras for few minutes. Then add these fried okras in the Daal. Cook them for more 10-15 minutes in low flame. It can be served with naans, Paratha or plain rice.
