  1. Make ready kidney or pinto beans, drained
  2. Get smoked paprika
  3. Make ready Fresh coriander to garnish

Steps to make Refried Beans:
  1. Chop the onion and fry gently in the oil in a small saucepan until they soften and start to change colour.
  2. Add the garlic and cumin and stir for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the beans and paprika to the pan. Stir until coated, then add the stock.
  4. Simmer over a low heat until the beans are soft and can be mashed.
  5. Mash with a wooden spoon against the side of the pan.
  6. Garnish with coriander and serve.
