  1. Take 4 tomatoes chopped
  2. Get 4 onion of big size, chopped roughly
  3. Make ready 50 gm khoya
  4. Get 5-6 whole cashew
  5. Take 3 table spoon milk
  6. Get 1 tbsp garam masala powder
  7. Take 1 tbsp salt
  8. Take 1 tbsp sugar
  9. Get 1/ 2 cup water
  10. Take 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  11. Take 3-4 whole dry red chilli
  12. Take as per need Oil
  13. Make ready 1 Tej patta,
  14. Take 2-3 long & pinch of asafoetida
  15. Take 1 tbsp ghee
  16. Make ready 1 tbsp butter (cube of 20gm)
  17. Take 50 gm chopped coriander
  18. Take 1 tsp kasuri methi
Steps to make Paneer Butter Masala:
  1. First of all in a pan took 1 tbsp ghee or oil and put it on the medium flame. Add tejpatta, long and pinch of asfoetida. Prepare all the ingredients.
  2. Add chopped onion and saute it…till it becomes transparent…add dry red chillies,tomatoes and cashews and saute it till the tomatoes cooked.
  3. Add 1/4 cup of water to this mixture and stir it well until the tomatoes become messy.
  4. Cool down this mixture for 5 minutes, take it in the mixie jar add 1/4 cup water and crushed it to make a fine paste.
  5. In the other side in a small mixie jar take khoya and milk n crushed it.
  6. Now in a pan take 1 tbsp ghee and put it on the flame…melt it then add 2 tbsp Kashmiri mirch powder and stir it…
  7. Add crushed tomato - onion gravy to it and stir it.add some water n cook it well for 5 minutes.Add salt to taste, garam masala powder and stir it.
  8. Add crumbled khoya & milk mixture to the gravy and again stir it well for 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. In the other pan or kadai take some oil and heat it.add pieces of paneer and saute it for 2 minutes. Also add some kasuri methi.
  10. Add this paneer pieces to the gravy and stir it well. Took out this sabji in a serving bowl and put a piece of butter in the middle.Garnish it with coriander,sliced onion and tomato pieces as shown in the picture.
