  1. Make ready 1 cup lobhia
  2. Prepare 1 cup yellow lentils
  3. Take 1 cup red lentils
  4. Get 1 cup aromatic rice (Gobindobhog)
  5. Prepare 1 spoon hing
  6. Take 1/2 spoon fennel seeds powder
  7. Get 1 spoon cumin powder
  8. Make ready 1 spoon coriander powder
  9. Prepare 2 Spoons ghee
  10. Take 1 spoon cuming seeds
  11. Prepare 5 red chillies
  12. Make ready 3 green chillies
  13. Prepare 1 spoon turmeric powder
  14. Take As per taste Salt
Steps to make Lobhia Khichdi:
  1. Soaked the lobia, yellow and red lentils for 4 hrs. Then keep the rice handy.
  2. Now in a pressure cooker add lobhia, rice and lentils with 2 cup water and salt. Cooked it up to 2 whistle. Let it cool for sometime.
  3. Now open the pressure lid. If require add water as per requirement and mix turmeric powder. Now sort other ingredients. Then put a pan kadhai in a flame with ghee.
  4. Once ghee melts then add cuming seeds and red chillies. Once it spluttered then add fennel seeds powder, hing, cuming and coriander powder. Add green chillies and mix all.
  5. Now add the Khichdi in the kadhai. Mix well. Check the salt as required cand add.
  6. Once Khichdi cooked properly and bubbles will form then add cinnamon powder. Again mix well.
  7. Serve hot with papadum
