The ingredients needed to make Vegan chorizo:
  1. Take 300 g plant based sausages
  2. Get 2 tbs olive oil
  3. Make ready 1 1/2 tbs smoked paprika
  4. Get 1/2 tbs cayenne pepper
  5. Make ready 1/4 tbs ground fennel
  6. Make ready Pinch salt
  7. Prepare Pinch black pepper
  8. Prepare 2 garlic cloves
  9. Prepare 5 tbsp red wine/ or concentrated veggie stock
  10. Make ready 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions to make Vegan chorizo:
  1. Slice the sausages into ~2cm thick pieces. Fry them in olive oil for 5mins until golden. Sprinkle over the paprika, cayenne pepper, fennel, salt and pepper.
  2. Peel and finely chopped the garlic, then add it to the pan. Fry for another 2mins. Add the wine and maple syrup to the pan and cook until the wine has reduced. Toss the sausages in the sticky glaze to ensure full coverage.
  3. Serve and enjoy
