Make ready Sella Rice 4 glasses soaked for 3 hours
Get 4 tbsp Salt
Prepare Chicken one kg cut into 12 pcs

Get 2 packets Shaan Bombay biryani masala

Take Corriander leaves 1/2 cup finely chopped
Make ready Mint leaves few
Make ready Tomatoes 3 sliced for topping
Prepare 1 cup Brown onions
Prepare In a bowl mix :
Prepare 1/2 tsp Zaafran essence
Prepare 1/2 tsp Biryani essence
Get 1/4 tsp Biryani colour
Prepare 1/4 tsp Khewra essence
Instructions to make Chicken biryani:
Cook rice in a big pot by adding salt 4 tbsp only till 3/4 done n keep aside.
In another pan add oil, fry onions till golden. Add in g/g paste n fry with tomatoes n cook for few minutes.
Then add chicken n cook till colour changes. Now add shaan masala with 1/4 cup water n bhoonofy it very well.
Then add yogurt,give it a good mix n finally add in potatoes.
Stir n cover n cook for about 25 to 30 mins till chicken n potatoes r tender, masala or gravy thickens n oil floats on top.
In a pan put oil from gravy 3 tbsp as long with water 4 tbsp.
Layer of rice topped with chicken n gravy, some tomatoes n green chillies n corriander leaves.
Repeat layers n finally put rice layer, put color mixture,top with brown onions,coriander leaves, green chillies n tomatoes.
Put on dum, first five mins. On high n then 15 min. on low.
Dish out n garnish with mint leaves.
Serve with salad n raita.
