  2. Sift together the flour and baking powder into a bowl.(1/4 tsp of nutmeg and 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon can also be added)
  3. Peel the potatoes and mash. Add to the flour mixture.
  4. Add the milk and egg and beat into the mixture preferably with a hand blender until the mixture is smooth.
  5. In a frying pan heat the butter over low/medium heat and spoon in the batter (1-1.5 tbsp sizes are just about right).
  6. Cook until the pancake begins to Bubble then flip and cook on the other side.
  7. Remove excess grease with kitchen paper.
